New Zealand offers two options for digital nomads depending on your country of origin, either a Visitor Visa with loosened restrictions and extended stay options or a NZeTA.

NZeTA
Who can apply?: Applicable to a handful of countries or those with NZ PR
Duration: 3 months (renewable with visa runs)
Cost: $7 USD
Visitor Visa
Who can apply?: Applicable to more countries’ citizens
Duration: 6 months (multiple entry) | 9 months (single entry)
Cost: $193 USD
Anything else?: CAN include dependents
