Variable

  • Additional supporting documents

    • Korean is the official language, but there are lots of signs in English, especially in the cities.

    • South Korea has seasons. From the hot, muggy summers to windy, bitter winters, you'll get the full use of your shorts to puffer coats wardrobe.

    • A very specific blend of old and new, the country has a lot to do regardless of what you're interested in. You can find charming old villages in the middle of new cities, tons of chimaek (fried chicken and beer) spots, island beaches, rural scenery, and national parks for hikes.

    • Transit is excellent - both the inner city subway systems and the country-wide high speed rails are well-signed and easy-to-use.
